If you are analyzing debt financing of MFIs in a particular country or region , you can do so by creating a Funding Structure Report. Reports include data on type of MFI, type of lender, maturity and pricing. There are four basic parameters for creating such a report. Your selection in each area will narrow and then group the data presented.
I. MFI Characteristics. Select the MFIs that you want to include in the report. Are you interested in MFIs from a certain region? Or MFIs that are registered as a certain legal status?
II. Lender Characteristics. Select the types of lenders that you want to include in the report. Are you interested in funds from the government? Or commercial banks? Or funds that originate from a certain region?
III. Report Period. Select the fiscal years that you want to include. To choose a single year, e.g. 2010, choose Dates Between and include the same start and end year.
IV. Group. The report presents only aggregate results, not results for a given MFI. Select how you want to aggregate the data. Do you want to display this data by region? MFI Type? Lender Type?
V. Once you set these parameters, click ‘create report’ and it will present both charts and data tables. As with all reports, you can print, share and download this report. Premium customers can save their reports for later retrieval from the My MIX tab.
